8 - Day Tour to Beaune, Dijon, and Paris
Day 1 - Saturday, September 19, 2015 (D)
Arrival in Paris (CDG) airport, meet your licensed guide and board your coach for a 3 hour, 45 minute drive
to Beaune Check-in at your hotel in Beaune. Dinner tonight will be near the hotel.
Day 2 – Sunday, September 20, 2015 (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning tour of l’Imaginarium - Learn about the wines of burgundy, visit and tasting.
Lunch at leisure. Afternoon tour of the Cassissium - learn about the blackcurrant – visit of the museum and
the liquor factory – tasting. End of the afternoon visit of the Chateau du Clos de Vougeot, wine tasting.
Day 3 – Monday, September 21, 2015 (B, D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning tour at the Fallot factory - Tour the factory, watch and learn about the mustard making process.
Visit the museum and end your tour with a tasting. Lunch at leisure. Afternoon visit of the Hospices de
Beaune. Dinner at the Maison Champy - last wine producer in Beaune. Visit of the caves and dinner with
wine and food pairing.
Day 4 – Tuesday, September 22, 2015 (B)
Breakfast at the hotel
Morning drive to Dijon. Stop enroute to visit a cheese factory. Watch and learn about the local cheeses
making process. Some cheeses are flavored with mustard. End your visit with a tasting. Lunch at leisure.
Afternoon guided walking tour of Dijon's specialties: the mustard, gingerbread and blackcurrant. Stop at
the Maille shop for mustard tasting. Visit of the museum "Musée de la vie Bourguignonne".
Dinner at leisure in Dijon. Transfer back to the hotel.
Day 5 – Wednesday, September 23, 2015 (B, D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning visit of a private chateau. Meet the owner and tour his private home. Learn about his ancestors
and enjoy a wine tasting at the old family kitchen. Lunch at leisure. Afternoon cooking class at Passion
Cuisine. The group will split in half and switch between cooking and workshop. Dinner at a private room by
the kitchen. Transfer back to your hotel.
Day 6 – Thursday, September 24, 2015 (B, D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning visit of the Domaine Chassagne-Montrachet. Visit of the cellars and wine tasting. Lunch at
leisure. Afternoon at leisure in Beaune. Farewell dinner at a 1 star Michelin Restaurant.
Day 7 – Friday, September 25, 2015 (B)
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
Morning private coach transfer to Paris (CDG) airport.
Drop your luggage at the hotel. Check-in starting at 4.00pm. Afternoon and dinner at leisure.
Day 8 – Saturday, September 26, 2015 (B)
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Flight home.
