Week of November 23, 2015
Happy Thanksgiving! It’s a short week packed full of activities. It is tradition here at St. Brendan School
for the Eighth graders to perform at the annual Thanksgiving assembly. To add reverence to this
celebration, we will be putting on a prayer service giving thanks to our Lord for our many blessings. The
students will be participating in a tableau based on the Gospel of Luke. The second part of the assembly
is a presentation of the students’ heritage project. Please be sure to send any Diaper Bag donations (1110-15 school bulletin) with your student on Tuesday as they will be bringing them to the Thanksgiving
assembly for delivery. I wish everyone a safe and blessed Thanksgiving holiday! If you have any
questions or concern, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Please take a moment to read the important dates and academic link below.

With regard to high school applications, please send Confidential Teacher Evaluation Form and
Confidential School Report/Transcript Request forms to Ms. Brown in the office before December 3rd with
a note to which high school the form should go when completed. Remember to let her know if your child
is applying to multiple high school as the office will be tasked with making copies on other information
such as official transcript/permanent record, standardized test scores, report cards, grades/progress
reports, and any notices of disciplinary action that will be attached to the form when we mail them to the
high schools. The office will keep track of the forms that come in and out of school. Ms. Brown will hand
the confidential teacher evaluation form to me and all junior high teachers will set aside a time and date to
