TWO FIRST SECRET WIL WARN MEDJUGORJE

Visionary Mirjana Soldo’s two first secret future events will be warnings for Medjugorje
locals, says the priest to announce the events. The secrets will draw even more people to
Medjugorje and also be of paramount importance for official recognition by the Church,
says Fr. Petar Ljubicic.

Medjugorje’s local citizens will be the foremost recipients of the future events contained within
the first two of the 10 prophetic secrets that visionary Mirjana Dragicevic-Soldo says the Virgin
Mary has entrusted to her. Both events will be warnings, says Fr. Petar Ljubicic, the priest
chosen by Mirjana to announce the events on her behalf.
“Talking to me, Mirjana revealed that the first two secrets pertain to Medjugorje. They contain a
warning and an important warning for the faithful of the parish of Medjugorje” the Franciscan
tells in an interview with the Italian group Maria a Medjugorje.

Mary’s apparitions
“I think the revelation of the secrets will help us all to become more serious and more aware of
our responsibilities” he says.
Fr. Petar repeats that the event to the third secret will be a visible sign on Apparition Hill in
Medjugorje. For 30 years, all six Medjugorje visionaries have foretold the arrival of this
permanent sign, aimed at bringing people to conversion. But waiting for the sign would be a
mistake and a misunderstanding, says the priest who also discloses that a prophecy given to him
by a Medjugorje visionary has already come true:

before an event is to take place, then pray and fast together for a week, before Fr. Petar shall
announce the event three days before it will happen
“For everyone, (the permanent sign) is a sign of conversion. We must not forget that this time is
a time of conversion and prayer. It is a time of spiritual purification, and a time of joyful choice
of God. So I would like to stress once again that we should not expect to be converted. For
example, if we wait for a sign, we may be too late” says Fr. Petar Ljubicic.
” On January 19th1982 a visionary told me that Our Lady had said that communist
totalitarianism would collapse. There would be a war, but Croatia would be free.”
The Franciscan further states the revelation of the secrets will affect both the number of people
who come to Medjugorje, the attitude of the Catholic Church towards the apparitions, and
Medjugorje’s whole status in the world:

“It is a fact that, every year, thousands and thousands of pilgrims come to Medjugorje. When the
secrets will be disclosed, surely there will be even more people, probably even some who have
not shown any interest so far. In any case, the future of Medjugorje will be positive. It will
become more of a spiritual magnet” Fr. Petar Ljubicic says.
“You are surely right to assume that the revelation of the secrets will be of paramount
importance for the ecclesiastical recognition” he adds.

Even while passing on a number of new insights into the secrets, in the interview Fr. Ljubicic’s
main point is an admonition of not to go to excesses in speculating about them. Wishing to place
the secrets into proper perspective, he says the present now is more important than thinking of
future events:
“The secret, as the word implies, are secret. We know nothing about their content. You can only
say that the secrets pertain to events that will happen in a certain place at a certain time. But what
will happen, we do not know. So we should not ponder on this” Fr. Petar Ljubicic says.

“We should consider the existence of these secrets a help to us, so that we take seriously the life
that God has given us, and use the time for our salvation and for the salvation of our souls. This
means for us to live in such a way so as to be able to render account to God at any time.”
“If we live this way, we are always ready to meet God, and to go before Him which is why we
should not be afraid of the revelation of the secrets, and why it is not necessary to think about
“when”.
“These apparitions help us to understand that every moment of our life is important. You have to
live in total dedication to God, and bless Him with your prayers. This means that you always
choose God, and make the burden of life easier” says Fr. Petar Ljubicic.
“The history of the Virgin Mary’s apparitions shows that she is always with us when there are
great dangers. Just looking at the last 150 years, we see her love and concern for our needs made
manifest. With the apparitions Our Lady wants to avoid the worst.”
