ISTEP testing begins on Monday. Please make sure your child is well rested and has a healthy
breakfast.
All Pope John Parents: There will be a presentation about Ivy Tech Opportunities for Shawe students & the
College Cost Estimator on Wednesday, March 1st from 5:30 - 6:30 PM at Shawe. Topics will include dual credit,
dual enrollment and the Statewide Transfer General Education Core (completing the first year of college while
still in high school). There will also be information about the College Cost Estimator--a free service for Prince of
Peace families to help plan for financing the cost of college. All Prince of Peace Catholic Schools parents are
welcome to attend both of these presentations. Please RSVP to [email protected] and see the flyer that
was sent to you on Monday.
K-4 spring music program is May 17, 6:30pm. The attire is dressy clothing/school appropriate church wear.

3/7 – 5th & 6th Grade Step Up to Shawe
- 7th Grade Orientation (for current 6th graders and their parents), 6:30pm
3/9 – Open House for prospective families – Tell anyone who might be interested.
3/14 & 16 – 2017-18 Registration, 4-6:30pm – Preschool through 12th Grade
3/20-24 – Spring Break

Breakfast is served daily in the cafeteria from 7:30-8am for $1.60.
Breakfast consists of a granola bar, muffin or cereal, fruit or fruit juice and milk.
LUNCH MENU – February 27 – March 6
Monday – mini corn dogs, fries, baked beans, fruit & milk
Tuesday – beef stew, bread, salad, fruit & milk
Wednesday – mac and cheese, salad, baked beans, fruit & milk
Thursday – sub sandwich, chips, carrots, fruit & milk
Friday – Cheese Bosco Sticks, salad, fruit & milk
Monday – hot ham sandwich, chips, baked beans, fruit & milk
