AUCTION NOTICE
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invites sealed quotation for disposal of old Scrap Material
(Metal, Wooden, Plastic & Computer scrap) on as is where basis is.
The above categories of scrap can be inspected between 12.00 Noon and 1.00 pm. On 05 th May
& 06th May 2016. Quotation form containing detailed terms and conditions is available in the
Commission’s website ssc.nic.in and tender.gov.in. The quotation may be deposited in the Tender Box
kept in Room No.706 by 3.00 pm. on or before 09.05.2016. The quotations received in time will be
opened at 3.30 pm on 09.05.2016.

of sealed quotations-reg.
Sir,
I am directed to say that the Commission has proposed to old Scrap Material (Metal,
Wooden, Plastic & Computer scrap) on “as is where basis is”.
Accordingly, sealed quotations are invited for the disposal of scrap material on the the
terms and conditions mentioned below. In case you are interested in purchasing the above mentioned
scrap, you may submit your highest quotations in the enclosed proforma. You are required to quote
your highest offer for above mentioned scrap. The quotations addressed to undersigned in sealed cover
should reach this department latest by 3.00 pm on 09.05.2016. The quotations received in time will be
opened at 3.30 pm on 09.05.2016. The quotations should be dropped in the tender box kept in room No
706, Staff Selection Commission, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. The cover should be
prominently superscribed with the worked “QUOTATION FOR PURCHASE OF SCRAPMATERIALS”. The
scrap materials will be available for inspection between 12.00 Noon to 1.00 pm on 05th & 06th May
2016.

The quotations received in time will be opened in Room No. 706 7th floor, SSC, Block No 12, CGO
Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. The Bidders or their representatives may be present, if they so desire,
at the time of opening of quotations.
The sale will be governed by the following conditions:I.

The bidder is required to pay Earnest Money of Rs. 10,000/-.
Earnest Money is payable by means of Demand Draft drawn in favour of DDO, SSC, New
Delhi
Quotation received without demand draft towards earnest money will not be
considered and shall not be accepted.
The successful bidder will be required to deposit the bid amount by means of Demand
Draft drawn in favour of DDO, SSC, New Delhi.
The earnest money of the successful bidder(s) will be released only after he deposits the
sale proceeds. Earnest money will be forfeited if he fails to honor the bid.
The delivery of the sold scrap materials will be arranged only after the successful bidder
submits documentary evidence in support of residential status (Ration Card/Voters
Identity Card in case of individual and TIN Number, PAN Number & VAT registration
certificate in case of firm etc.)
The sold scrap materials shall be removed by the successful bidders(s) within 03 working
days of depositing the money on receipt of order.
The scrap materials will be sold on “AS IS WHERE IS BASIS” and no guarantee for its
worthiness or quality will be given by this Department.
The Commission reserves the right to reject any/all the quotation without assigning any
reasons thereof.
The reserved value will be announced on the date of Auction and the date of Auction
will be decided by the Commission.
