Jose Gonzalez came to Meers Engineering in July of 2013. He has
worked on numerous industrial projects. Mr Gonzalez has helped coordinate
and produce Arc Flash studies for several clients.
Previous to joing us Mr. Gonzalez was part of the United States Marine
Corps where he served as an Aviation Ordnance Technician assembling,
handling and storing aviation ordnance. He troubleshot and did preventative
maintenance on two missile launchers for the AH-1 Cobra, hellfire missile
launcher, LAU-7 missile launcher and BRU-32 ejector racks.
After his time in service Mr. Gonzalez worked with A1 Electric and
became a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and
performed work on the Raymondville, Texas Immigration Detention Center.
Mr Gonzalez then went on to further his education at the University of
Texas Pan America. His Senior Project was the design of the receiver code on
source boost for a wireless meter installer and remover. He designed the
components on AutoCAD for 3D prints on Replicators. Meeting all
requirements Mr. Gonzalez won first place on the CCET/IEEE undergraduate
competition.
Mr Gonzalez has Technical experience with VHDL, C++, Matlab,
PSPICE Schematics, Basic AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office. He has
instrumental experience with benchtop power supply, Multimeter , Tektronix EZTEST and Function Generator.
