This Act may be ci ted as
the Commonwealth
Electoral (Representation of the People) Amendment Act 1986.
(2)
The Commonwealth Electoral Act 1918 is in this Act
referred to as the Principal Act.
Commencement

2. This Act shall come into operation on the day on which
it receives the Royal Assent.
