Mechanism of action
STOPCOUGH syrup contains HERBALIUMTM, a unique mix of active natural substances which act as
remedy for cold, mucus, cough, runny nose and sore throat. Herbal extracts of boswellia, basil, thyme,
and eucalyptus have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects, soothe a swollen mucous membrane
of the throat and suppress cough. Extracts of ribwort plantain, thyme, basil and eucalyptus help dissolve
mucus and facilitate expectoration. In addition, boswellia helps reduce swelling and allergic changes on
the mucous membranes of the throat and nasopharynx.
Recommended dosage
One tablespoon (adults) or teaspoon (children) 3 times a day. The remedial effect on
mucous membrane can be enhanced by short gargling with the recommended daily
dose of the syrup. In this manner the syrup will better adhere and act on the affected
mucous membrane of the throat, soft palate and tonsils.

Purified water, fructose, sorbitol, alcoholic-aqueous extract of ribwort plantain, alcoholicaqueous extract of thyme, polysorbate 20, trisodium citrate, potassium sorbate, sodium

Major active ingredients and mechanism of their action:
Extract of ribwort plantain (Plantago lanceolata) – soothes a swollen mucous membrane
and suppresses cough.
Extract of boswellia (Boswellia serrata) – contains boswellic acids, natural substances which are remedy
for an inflamed mucous membrane and for allergic effects on mucous membranes.
Extract of thyme (Thymus serpyllum) – keeps mucous membrane clean and acts against bacteria.
Extract of basil (Ocimum basilicum) – soothes a swollen mucous membrane and acts against bacteria.
Extract of eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) – cools a swollen mucous membrane and makes it insensitive;
acts against bacteria
