New Applicants will click the “Start Application” button to begin. If you completed a SKYCTC admissions application in the past, DO NOT start a new admissions application. You must keep the same KCTCS student ID number for every enrollment term. Select Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College as your home college and campus. The next step is to enter your personal data in the ‘Applicant Information’ section. You may choose to complete the application without entering a Social Security Number, but you are strongly encouraged to include it. *Make sure you select “Next Step” and not “Save” at the bottom of each page to continue. You must CREATE ACCOUNT with a valid email address and password; this account is only used to access the admissions application. Then, enter your KCTCS student ID number. Click the “Next” button. 5) A temporary passcode will be sent to the email address you entered on your application for admission. Enter this passcode in the appropriate box. 6) Create the security questions and answers as requested and then click the “Next” button. **Remember your security question answers as you cannot reset your account without them! 7) Click Save My User Profile. Then, click Set My Password. 8) Enter your last name and KCTCS Student ID number. Click Sign ln. 9) Read the password requirements carefully and enter the password in both boxes. 10) Return to the User Account Center and click the SELF-SERVICE link. Login to SELF-SERVICE using your username/User ID and new password. Passwords expire every 90 days. Check your student email for notification of password expiration.
