Administration Secretary I ($30,753.00 /Annually)
-High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
-Five (5) years’ experience as a secretary and/or Administrative Assistant is required.
-Knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Office and Word is
required.
-Knowledge of HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems), timekeeping and procurement systems
is highly desired.
-Must have general knowledge of various office equipment.
-Able to follow written instructions and apply logical thinking to accomplish multiple tasks.
-Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
-Extensive knowledge of composition, grammar, spelling, punctuation and basic mathematics.
-Good oral and written communication skills in addition to organizational skills are required.
-Ability to multi task and meet specified deadlines is required.
-Candidate must pass a typing test at 40 WPM in order to qualify for an interview.
Maintenance Section Supervisor ($70,000.00 - $75,000.00 / Annually)
- High-school graduate or equivalent.
- Good written and oral communication skills are required.
- Proven knowledge & experience in snow & ice control operations is required.
- Computerized Management Systems & inventory control procedures is desired.
- Experience in roadway and appurtenance repair operations is required.
- Management operations and budgeting and personnel (union environment) is required.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required. Incumbent should be self-motivated and
be able to motivate subordinates.
- The incumbent will be required to pass a written examination in order to qualify for an interview.
- A valid Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with endorsements of air brakes, combination
vehicles and tank trucks is required at time of testing.

Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities
The primary purpose is to provide high-level exemplary administrative office support to the Facilities
and Operations Department, especially the Director and Deputy Director of the Department. This
includes but is not limited to manage and maintain executive’s schedules, appointments and travel
arrangements.
Provide office services by implementing administrative systems policies and procedures and
monitoring administrative projects.
Provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing and statistical reports.
Handle information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence,
receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings. Manage the daily work order
system and end-user two-way Museum Radio Communication system.
Provide purchasing support for the Managers of Facilities and track expenses and paid invoices
within the three department budgets.
Qualifications
Associates’ degree (A.A) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to
one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical
procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients,
customers, and the general public.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where
only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
An interest in science or museum education and programming a plus.

The Parts Expeditor insures accurate communication between the field service employees and the
service parts warehouse order system. The expeditor manages the order and control processes for
parts inventories.
The expeditor is responsible for recommending changes in the min/max levels of parts inventories for
the employees' van stock. The expeditor manages the completion of purchase orders with the
employees they are assigned.
This position is responsible for tracking and reporting the accuracy and status of order fulfillment. The
expeditors are responsible for ordering, maintaining the min/max system in BASIS, transfers for
service parts. - 40%
Creating purchase orders for parts and placing the orders - 20%-Communicating with field employees
