Wetlands Alliteration
Alliteration is what happens when the words in a phase or a sentence begin with the
same letter and sound. Alliteration is used to make writing more interesting, and also to
write tongue twisters.
Here is an example of alliteration, using the wetlands theme.
Crazy crocodiles can crunch on crawfish!
Many times, writing that uses alliteration is funny. Try your hand at writing using
alliteration. Use a dictionary to help you find words.
