Many factors may influence on the final price of your visa (nationality, origin, type of visa, services).
Please browse through all the below sections in order to calculate the price of your visa. You may
find assistance with the examples provided. Unless otherwise mentioned, fees are cumulative from
one section to another.
Please note that number of photocopies is not considered in the examples given below as it may
vary when applicant visits vac.

Visa fees
This section mentions details of the visa fees and ICWF fees for various visa types, for various
passport holders. Please read through carefully and refer to the examples mentioned earlier in this
document to arrive at the amount payable.
Visa Fee structure wef July 1, 2008
Passport holders of following Countries would be eligible to receive “gratis” visas of all
types:

Nationals of Nepal & Bhutan do not require visa to enter India. However, Nepali nationals require
visa if they enter India from China, which is granted "gratis".
Pakistan nationals are charged only Rand 5/- for all types of visas. (An additional ICWF fee of R 25/shall be charged)
Japanese nationals will be charged onlyl Rand =15/-for Transit visa and Rand 100/- for all other
types of visa. (An additional ICWF fee of R 25/- shall be charged)
Russian nationals have to pay only Service charge of R 480/ and no visa fee is charged. (An
additional ICWF fee of R 25/- shall be charged)
Romanian nationals have to pay only Service charge of R350/ and no visa fee is charged. (An
additional ICWF fee of R 25/- shall be charged)
In respect of other nationalities, following fee would be applicable. Special visa fee applies to
nationals of Sri Lanka which is shown separately below.
In addition to the fee shown below, following would also apply
i) Every applicant not resident in South Africa will be charged reference fee of R 120/ (An
additional ICWF fee of R 25/- shall be charged)
ii) Every US national will be charged additional visa fee of R 240/- . (An additional ICWF fee of R 25/shall be charged)
All fee indicated are in Rands.
