Executive Summary: We are requesting ratification of the MOU between YSB
and YSA, which has already been signed electronically. This award will help
fund expenses associated with Global Youth Service Day which takes place
on April 21, 2017.

Ordinance 2017-08: An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 270 of the Monroe
County Code by Adding Section 270-68, Seized Asset Fund
Fund Name: Seized Asset Fund
Fund Number: 4917
Executive Summary: This Ordinance establishes the Seized Asset Fund.
IC 34-24-1 provides for the forfeiture of property used in certain
criminal activities, and that the proceeds from such forfeiture be used to
cover some law enforcement costs.

Ratification of Agreement Between Monroe County and the Indiana
Department of Transportation for the Inspection and Safety Rating
for Six Bridges
Fund Name: Cumulative Bridge
Fund Number: 1135

Executive Summary: This contract is between Monroe County and INDOT
for the inspection of the six bridges that are to be inspected every 12
months in accordance with the National Bridge Inspection Standards.

Ratification of Agreement for Bridge Inspection and Safety Rating with
Beam, Longest, and Neff, LLC. Supplemental Agreement No. 2
Fund Name: Cumulative Bridge
Fund Number: 1135
Amount: $5,900.00
Executive Summary: Due to changes in Federal and State regulations,
new requirements increase frequency of inspection cycles for bridges
with a deck, superstructure, substructure or culvert rating of concern.
This increases the inspection cycle from 24 to 12 months on 6 bridges
in our inventory.

Contract with Fowler Tree Services
Fund Name: MC Bldg Pres/Blgtn Foundation
Fund Number: 4904
Amount: $15,000.00
Executive Summary: Contract provides for the removal of nine crabapple
trees and stumps on the north and south sides of the Courthouse. Fowler
will contract with Mother Nature Landscaping to properly plant five
yellowwood trees. Contract also provides for the removal of two mature
sweet gum trees and the grinding and removal of stumps and debris.
