Name:
A hyperbole is used to emphasise something by using extreme exaggeration to
create a strong effect.
For example: “I called you a million times!” It does not really mean the person was
called a million times, but merely the person has been called many times.
For each phrase below, write a sentence using a hyperbole. You do not have to use
all the words in the phrase, as long as the meaning of the phrase is implied in the
sentence.
1. My car is old.
