Lesson Overview:
Through interactive and investigative activities,
learners will explore the different habitats and
discover the associated creatures that live there.
By exploring the interactions and energy flow
between plants and animals learners will develop
their understanding of how various species depend
on one another and on the environment for
survival. The will look at the three main
requirements for life, Sun, Water and Air, the link
between food chains and food webs and where
humans fit into them. They will also learn what
happens when certain components within the food
chain or food web are removed. Fun games and
activities will help to reinforce the lesson topic.
