Epic Sperm Tale
You’re going to write an epic tale about the adventures a sperm faces as he (or she) tries to fertilize an egg cell. This is a
difficult journey for the sperm to make, so be sure to include all the obsticles they will face along the way (do not include
a scene dealing with intercourse, we will assume that the sperm arriving in the vagina implies intercourse). Your story
will begin in the male body and end in the female body, where the sperm will either successfully fertilize an egg cell or
die trying in the fallopian tubes. Use the following rubric to make sure you’ve included all the important information in
your stories. Your final story must be a minimum of one typed page, AND IT MUST BE TYPED!
Correctly applying all parts of male/female reproductive system into your story. Parts to include: testes, epididymis, vas
deferens, prostate gland, seminal vessicle, Cowper’s gland, urethra, vagina, cervix, uterus, fallopian tube, ovary, and of
course egg cell and sperm cell. You may use more parts, but these are the parts that are required. (14 total parts in
correct order and function) 20 points
Rough draft completed and turned in on time (Wednesday September 12th).
