Duplicate Tickets / Voiding Updates
Issuing duplicate tickets, in a PNR, for a passenger, without voiding previously issued tickets, may result in
airline debit memos and cancellation of the reservation.
Please ensure you do *T to confirm that no other ticket has been issued for the selected passenger or
segments.
If a duplicate ticket has been issued by error on the same day (as the first ticket), you must void the FIRST
(previously) ticket issued.
Note that all tickets can be voided prior to 23:59 local time (11:59 PM) on the same day the ticket was issued

Emirates is pleased to inform you that we shall offer 10Kgs extra free baggage allowance in Economy class
to DAC, KBL, ADD, CRK and MNL (EK334 only) for Sale and outbound Travel until 30Apr’14.
Ticketed PNRs with outbound Travel on/before 30Apr’14 will automatically be updated with the extra
baggage allowance approval, which appears in EK system only.
This offer is in addition to the existing free baggage allowance of 30Kgs and will only be applicable to tickets
purchased in UAE for directional travel commencing in Dubai
Updates on Schengen Visa
According to the letter of the General Authority of Civil Aviation number 3620/1/2/256 dated 15/02/1435
regarding the conditions for entering the European Union states, which emphasizes that Schengen visa
holders must enter EU states through the Schengen state that issued the visa.
Therefore, all agents in CTOs, ATO, and TSCs must inform the passengers of importance of acquiring a
Schengen Visa from one of the EU embassies directly and that entry to the EU states must be through the
airport of the EU state that issued the visa.

NEW UIA Long-Haul Flights to Thailand – NEW Concept of Service and Comfort
UIA had launched its new direct non-stop long-haul Kiev – Bangkok – Kiev flights.
Direct flights between Kiev Boryspil International Airport and Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport operate three times
weekly on modern long-haul Boeing 767-300 aircraft. The flight duration from Kiev to Bangkok is approx. 9 hours 25 minutes.
On its new route UIA offers its passengers a whole new experience through an upgraded quality product presented in three travel
classes: Business, Premium Economy and Economy.

SWISS Timetable News:
Due to runway renovations at Dubai International Airport between May 01, 2014 and July 19, 2014 airlines have been asked to reduce capacity.
Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) will therefore cease its flight legs Dubai-Muscat-Dubai during this period.
The Zurich-Dubai-Zurich daily flights will be operated with the following schedule and as a turn-around flight in Dubai:
LX 244 Zurich-Dubai: 12.45-2050//LX 245 Dubai-Zurich: 01.35-0620
Furthermore, during Ramadan period 4 flights will be cancelled on: 30th June; 4th, 11th, 18th July 2014
Passengers ticketed during this period will receive a WK message for the cancelled flights.
After the temporary suspension, SWISS will be operating again with the normal rotation.
