Thank you for coming out to McDonald’s in Walkertown each month where the restaurant has graciously agreed to give a portion of their sales from between the hours of 5 and 8 pm to our preschool. Orders placed in the drive through as well as orders “to go” count toward this fundraiser. This month’s night is May 17th. Everyone that comes to school the next day with a receipt will not only get to go to the prize box but will also receive a coupon for a FREE day of lunch bunch! (if space is available) Policeman Visit A member of the Kernersville Police Department will make a visit to our preschool on Monday, May 16th at 9:30 am. A grandfriend is a grandparent, a friend, a relative or even just Mom or Dad. Come enjoy a special breakfast treat with your preschooler on May 16th and 17th at 9 am. There will also be an opportunity to make a keepsake project with your grandfriend. Hope to see you there. 3 1 Grace House Preschool Enrichment During the month of May, we will be playing and experimenting with water in the enrichment room. We will explore with sponges, droppers, and test tubes as we begin to learn about concepts such as capacity and absorption. We will have a center where the children will "race" rubber ducks (powered by squirt bottles)! Of course, we will also read books about animals that live in the water. One book to look foward to is, Mister Seahorse, by Eric Carle. It is going to be a wet and wonderful month! Mrs. Christi Little Adventurers Mrs. Kristen and I can’t believe it is May!
