YourpupilsaremembersofaresearchteamwhohavebeensenttolocatetheKombaitribeinPapuaandlearnhow
theysurvive.Thepupilsfirstpreparefortheirexpeditionbyconsideringwhatkittheywouldneed.Theyare
dividedinto‘tribes’eachwiththeirownuniquetribalsymbol.Accompaniedbytheirteachers,thetribesjourney
intotherainforestandidentifyhowtousetherainforestanditsplantsforfood,shelter,waterandhealth.On
returntotheclassroomeachtribehastheresponsibilityofusingtheirartefactsboxtoteachtherestofthegroup
someoftheirsecretstosurvival.
