If US trailer please advise on the dimension of the tow ball (50’ / 60’) or if European. 1) Advise who we should invoice Duties /taxes to: your company an Intermediary or direct to the client 2) Advise once cleared if transport is required. If already arranged please provide full contact details of transporter for release note. COSTS TO EXPECT: • • • • • • • Tax in Spain is at 18% on CIF (Cost, insurance, freight) value Duty – percentage varies depending on the type of boat – confirmation from customs is required Clearance depends on value of the boat and the port, please see an approximate guide attached based on CIF Port costs in Spain: usually between 500 – 800 eur but may vary depending on shipping line. Crane costs: ports always charge a full crane at 1000 eur approximately no matter how small or easy to load the boat with an alternative method such as forklift or smaller crane. In Barcelona if we do the transport we can arrange to tow the boat to our nearby warehouse and load with our own crane at half the cost, approximately 500 eur. If the boat is small enough to load with a forklift the cost is lower. Transport costs to final destination to be confirmed with full delivery details, including offload facilities if required.
