Tax in Spain is at 18% on CIF (Cost, insurance, freight) value
Duty – percentage varies depending on the type of boat – confirmation from customs is
required
Clearance depends on value of the boat and the port, please see an approximate guide
attached based on CIF
Port costs in Spain: usually between 500 – 800 eur but may vary depending on shipping
line.
Crane costs: ports always charge a full crane at 1000 eur approximately no matter how
small or easy to load the boat with an alternative method such as forklift or smaller crane.
In Barcelona if we do the transport we can arrange to tow the boat to our nearby
warehouse and load with our own crane at half the cost, approximately 500 eur. If the boat
is small enough to load with a forklift the cost is lower.
Transport costs to final destination to be confirmed with full delivery details, including
offload facilities if required.
Collection fee: a standard of 250 euros (covers bank charges, and admin fee for customs
and document handling)
