Dear Parents/Carers,
Our amazing world was brought to life this week for Sycamore and Beech class when they became science explorers
at the Natural History museum. They all had a wonderful time and have been chatting lots about their day. Thank you
to all the parents that came along to help. We hope you enjoyed it as much as the children.
It’s walk to school week next week. It would be wonderful to see as many children walking to school as possible. Don’t
forget to wear your ‘funky’ shoes on Friday.
Fidget spinners and Fidget cubes are the latest craze at the moment. Please can you ensure that they are not brought
to school.
Have a lovely weekend
Best wishes, Mrs Aharon and Mrs Leggett.

Year 1 have been learning to identify and name wild and garden plants in their Science
lesson. The children worked very well in their pairs and teams to use their plant
identification sheets to learn the names of new plants. We even visited the school pond to
look for plants and some of us got to feed the school fish.
