Bring the two sides of the bow (front) together and secure with a small piece of Cellotape. 5. Spread glue on the tabs of the front end of the keel and stick them to the inside of the bow. 6. Do the same with the stern (back) of your ship. 7. Fold over the 2 boat deck strips from either side and glue together. 8. Colour in and cut around the 4 sets of lifeboats. 9. Cut 8 pieces of string, each about 10 cm (4”) long. Tape one end of the strings to the back of each end of the lifeboat sets. 10. You will need 8 bits of pipe cleaner to make the davits (supports for lifeboats) 11. Bend all the tops over so the pipe cleaners look like little walking sticks. 12. Cellotape the davits to the inside of the ship, 4 on each side, with the curved ends at the top. 13. Tie each of the lifeboats sets to two of the davits. 14. To make the funnels, cut along the thick black lines of the funnels sheet to separate out your 4 funnels. 15. Colour your funnels or glue a black paper strip along the top edge. 16. Snip and fold up the tabs at the bottom of each funnel. 17. Spread glue along the glue tab and then roll the funnel into a cylinder and glue the edges together. 18. Spread glue on the underside of the tabs and stick each funnel into your Titanic model. The funnels should all lean towards the stern (back) of the ship. Your Titanic model is complete.
