Adult Field Day
May 16th, 2015
Field Day…Ah the memories. Team t-shirts, 50 yard dash, tug of war, over
under; all on the hottest day of the school year, of course. But what if you could
experience that elementary school fun as an adult? I think you see where this
is going… You CAN!
On May 16th at Luther William Field, Macon Bibb County Parks & Rec will be
hosting the 2nd Annual Adult Field Day. Our events are top secret, but you and
your team can expect to participate in events such as dizzy bat relays, egg toss,
flip cup and an obstacle course. In addition to this day of nostalgia, you will also
get to enjoy giveaways, crown competitions, and live music. A complete list of
events will be released May 1st at www.facebook.com/MaconBibbParksandRec.
Team check-in begins at 12:00 am, events begin promptly at 2:00pm.
Registration includes a 2015 Adult Field Day T-shirt, swag bag, and a post-field
day celebration immediately following the event, at Luther Williams Field.
Awards and prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Fan Favorite will be given out at the
conclusion of the days events.
If you are interested in participating you’ll need to form a team of 6 of your most
(or perhaps least) coordinated pals. Registration is $150 per team (that’s only
$25 per person!) and due, along with the registration form no later than May
14th, 2014. Team uniforms are not required, however we encourage you to be
as creative as you’d like!

payable to Macon Bibb County Parks & Recreation.

carries no insurance for players, spectators or game officials. The Emergency Medical Service will
be called for medical emergencies. Individuals are responsible for all charges resulting from a
medical emergency. Teams are responsible for any first aid equipment at game sites and are encouraged to keep a list of insurance numbers for team members in case of an emergency.
