Description:The4RiversSmokehouseCateringSalesManagerisresponsibleforfinalizinggroup
cateringbusinesstomeet/exceedsalesgoals.AsaCateringSalesManager,onesolicits,
negotiatesandbooksnew/repeatbusinessbyviaoutsidesalescalls,telemarketing,mailings,
networking,etc.Requirementsofthepositioninclude:athoroughknowledgeofthepractices
andproceduresofthecatering,food&beverageandhospitalityprofessions;knowledgeof4R
productsandservices;effectivecommunicationskills,andtheabilitytonegotiate,influenceand
sell.Candidatesmusthaveasafedrivingrecord.
ReportingRelationship:TheCateringSalesManagerreportsdirectlytotheCateringSales
Director.
DutiesandResponsibilities:
•
Solicit,negotiateandbooknewandrepeatbusinessthroughefforts(outsidesalescalls,
telemarketing,mailings,networking,etc...)tomeet/exceedrevenuegoals.
•
Executeamarketingstrategytocapturethemaximumamountofrevenueand
meet/exceedsalesgoals.
•
Plan,upsellanddetailthemeeting/functionwiththeclient.Completeanynecessary
contracts,preparetheappropriatepaperwork,coordinatewiththeappropriatecatering
teammembers/managers,resolveanyissues,complaintsandproblemstoensure
qualityproductdeliveryandcustomersatisfaction.
•
Maintainup-to-dateknowledgeof4Rproductsandproceduresaswellasthoseofthe
competitiontocontinuallyimprovesalesstrategiesandtheachievementofgoals.
•
Maintainhighvisibilitywithinthecommunityandpromotesales.
•
Activelyparticipateincateringsalespresentations,tastings,andotherrelated
events/meetings/presentations.
•
Participateinperiodicbusinessreviewmeeting,salesmeetingsandoperational
meetings.
