Why have you chosen the Master Program "Analytical Finance"?
I chose to study Analytical Finance mainly for the great variety of interesting courses the
programme offers. The students following the programme Analytical finance are offered a good
mixture of mathematics, business and economics courses, as well as high quality in-depth training
in the field they chose. Another reason for choosing Analytical Finance is the international
atmosphere and the opportunity to conduct my education entirely in English.
What is the best in this program?
For me the best thing in this program is the wide range of courses offered and the flexibility
of choosing and designing your own educational path. I also appreciate the fact that many of
the courses given in Analytical Finance are interdisciplinary (a mix of Mathematics and
Finance, Business and Finance, Mathematics and Economics, etc).
Did you experience any problems in getting a job after graduating from this program?
As a newly graduate one always lacks the professional experience required for some of the
jobs on the market, but thanks to the various and sound knowledge obtained during the years
in MDH, I found it easy to get into duties requiring flexibility and a mixture of skills. The
academic knowledge obtained helped me as well to quickly get into any matter of subject,
which was highly appreciated by my employers.
Would you like to give an advice to future financial analysts?
My advice to you is to stay motivated and hardworking throughout the whole time, not to give
up when something might seem too hard or not entirely relevant to your future degree (sooner
or later you will be grateful for knowing it) and to take advantage of every educational aspect
which Analytical Finance is offering you.
