Newsletter November 2013 Welcome to Novembers newsletter. What a wet and windy month October was and I hear it isn’t going to be much better through November, so hook out your raincoats and umbrellas if you have any trips planned! I would like to thank you all for taking time out of your busy schedules to attend our Residents Meeting in October. We had some good feedback and the most popular subject during the meeting seemed to be focused around some of you requesting smelly cheese for your supper!!(you know who you are)! The new Tuck-shop is now up and running and I hope that you are all enjoying the chocolate and treats, - please remember to let me know if there is anything else you would like me to add to the trolley. We had our food standards inspection during October and I am very pleased to say we have retained our level 5 rating. This is the highest rating achievable so well done!! Finally I bring you some good news about an extra exercise class: Sandra will be here on Tuesday 5th November to take a Pilates class with you so please find your leg warmers and come along and support her. Daffodils by William Wordsworth I wander’d lonely as a cloud That floats on high o’er vales and hills When all at once I saw a crowd A host of golden Dafodils Beside the lake, beneath the trees Fluttering and dancing in the breeze Continuous as the stars that shine And twinkle on the milky way They stretch’d in never-ending line Along the margin of a bay Ten thousand saw I at a glance Tossing their heads in sprightly dance The waves beside them danced, but they Out-did the sparkling weaves in glee A poet could not but be gay In such a jocund company. Thank You D Bullows for sharing one of your favourite poems with us.
