the new orders are received.

The afterschool movie made a profit of $520.

Twenty produce packs were sold for a profit of
$200. There was a suggestion to allow more time
for orders if we do these again.

A motion passed to purchase the license for the
online Healthy lunch ordering program (save $50 if
renewed by June 30).

Teacher
Requests
-
Mr. Raymond requested “Vocabulary A-Z,” a site
with leveled word lists and activities to use for
word work. It costs $39.95 USD for a
subscription. Mme. Vallis asked for a subscription
to “Reading A-Z,” a site that has downloadable
reading comprehension stories. It is $109.95 USD.
Laura motioned to pay for both and Tammy
-
seconded the motion.
The school received a $3000 grant for the mural
which covered the cost of the artists and labour.
It costs $593 to mount the mural. The school will
pay for some of that cost. Last year the John
Peters Humphrey Society donated $100. It was
agreed that Home and School would cover $300
-
toward the mural.
The school’s projector needs to be replaced. The
cost is roughly $1000-$1200. Laura motioned to go
half with the school and pay up to $1000, and I
seconded the motion. All in favour.
PSSC Report
-
About 30 parents attended “Parent Power Night”
on April 11. Students attended an hour of coding
while their parents attended an information session
on healthy online habits for children. The
importance on setting limits was stressed.

going to check to see how much it would be just for
sumo wrestling in case of a rain event. Bubble
soccer would not fit inside the rink.

Quilli’s has a double slide (cost of $690), a soft
mountain and an obstacle course inflatable.

Look in to see if GoGo Gymnastics will provide a

We would like to have pony rides again this year.
Last year it cost $250 and made $289.

will ask Ron’s for hamburger buns and Jamie at
Independent for a price for burgers and popsicles.
In regards to the games, we talked about having
middle school students in charge of the games and
