BEFORE WE BEGIN…
All players to set up their playing area as shown below.
Cards played at
each turn should
be placed in order
from left to right
Draw pile
•
Each player has his/her own Draw pile.
•
Draw pile holds the player’s deck of cards.
•
Cards are kept facing down at all times.
•
A player draws a card at the end of his/her turn from the Draw pile.
•
All players have to shuffle their Draw pile at the beginning of the game.
Discard pile
•
Each player has his/her own Discard pile.
•
Discarded cards are placed in the Discard pile.
Hand
•
Each player starts with 5 cards in his/her hand.
•
Cards are hidden from opponent’s view.
LET’S PLAY
To determine who starts the game, each player draws a card from the top of their Draw pile. The
player that draws the card with the highest points starts the game. Return the cards back to the
respective Draw piles and shuffle.
1) All players draw five cards from their Draw pile.
2) Player starts by placing a card on the playing field.
3) The effect of the card played takes place immediately and only lasts one turn.
4) Each player plays only 1 card per turn.
5) Player draws a card from his/her Draw pile at the end of the turn.
6) Next player repeats steps 2 – 5.
HOW TO END THE GAME
1) The first player to achieve a total of twenty points wins!
2) Alternatively, the game ends when one player runs out of cards in his/her Draw pile. All players
will then have to count the total number of points from the cards on his/her playing field. Cards in
players’ hands are not included. The player with the highest total points wins!
