Thank you for your support and positive
comments; we were overwhelmed by the
number of people that attended.
Particular thanks to Mr Beament and Mr
Fraser for their masterpiece—The Lancot Big
Top. They have given up so much of their
time and it is very much appreciated.
Thanks also to Mrs Sylvester-King who has
worked so hard decorating the Big Top.
Mr Kirby very kindly supported the printing
of the programmes which, I am sure you
agree, look fantastic. Miss McDonnell very
kindly gave up many evenings to collate this
project.
We welcome all feedback so please leave
your comments on our school Facebook
page.
Programmes are still available from the
office next week.
(Not quite so short after all!)

Thank you to all the parents and staff who
helped with last week’s Fun Afternoon. We are
pleased to say we raised £562 which will be
used for curriculum resources.
FOUNDATION STAGE
FUN AFTERNOON
The closing date for places at next
Thursday’s event has now passed.
Further information will be sent out
next week to those children who have
booked a place.
PARENT SUPPORT GROUP SURVEY
Thank you to all parents of children with additional needs who
responded to the survey about a Parent Support Group. The
response was positive to having a group held in school and the
majority requested it to be during the school day without children
present. I would therefore like to extend an invitation to our first
group meeting to be held in school on Monday 25th April at 9.00 am.
I would expect this to be about an hour. If you have a child with an
additional need, whether it is a medical need or learning need, and
you would like the friendship and support of other parents you are
welcome to attend. I will act as facilitator of the group initially and
we will discuss options for future meetings to try to include as many
people as possible.

MUSICAL NOTES
School Choir—VIAM
Two weeks ago the school choir performed at the Voice in a Million concert at the SSE Arena, Wembley. This
was the third time Lancot had joined hundreds of other schools at this exciting event. We arrived at Wembley
at 1.45 pm and rehearsed for a couple of hours. After the children had their tea they changed into their new
T shirts ready for the concert to start at 7.15 pm. Joshua, Millie and Sienna were in the banner parade which
opened the concert. All the children sang their hearts out and the sound was fantastic. The event is a
wonderful experience for the children and makes a great difference to the lives of children less fortunate than
themselves.

Isabella really enjoyed playing a part in Rainforest’s court. Zia found “the circus
enjoyable and fun” but also enjoyed selling the snacks. Jack said the “circus
was really fun and we learnt new things”.
