DEFINITIONS
Context:
The circumstances in which artists work, eg personal, social, historical, cultural,
geographical, environmental, economic, political, religious, artistic, gender, class,
and philosophical.
Movement:
A group who adopt a similar approach to style or ideology, eg Mannerism, Pop,
Die Brücke, Cubism, Constructivism, and Feminism.
