Fast Facts For Coaches and Families
Modified Folkstyle Rules: Neutral Restarts, Freestyle Pushout Point
Cost for Dual Team: $300 per division (~$30 per wrestler); pay in Check or PayPal
Membership: USA Wrestling ‘16-‘17 folkstyle membership (join/renew online after 9/1/16)
Roster: 2 USA Coaches & up to 11 Athletes per team; Athletes can compete in only 1 division
What to Do About Weight Classes?
If wrestling both events, actual weight from C@C will be usedAs a Satellite Weigh-In for Duals (must make scratch weight) and
To build blocked weight brackets for C@C Girls Individual Event
To compete in C@C Boys Divisions (C@C age group weight classes plus 2# allowance)
C@C weigh-ins are Friday 10/14 from 5-6PM or Saturday 10/15 from 7-7:30AM
IF YOUR ATHLETE DOES NOT MAKE THEIR DUAL WEIGHT AT C@C,
they must weigh in again at PV or wrestle-up (top weight would forfeit)
If wrestling Duals-only, weigh-in @ Pleasant Valley High School, 604 Belmont Rd. Bettendorf, IA
Saturday evening (time TBD) or 7-7:30AM Sunday morning (scratch weight)
Bracket Format: Round Robin Pools qualify for Championship or Consolation Rounds
Schedule: Wrestling will begin Sunday 8:30AM - ~4:30PM; expect 4-6 matches per team
Admission: Adults $10, kids FREE (under 18 years old)
