The cost for the day is $15 dollars which will cover umpire and nomination fees. Money and registration slips must be returned on Tuesday 17th June. Players will need to bring lunch and snacks, warm clothes in case of rain and a garbage bag to keep everything dry. Please make sure you have plenty to drink. The club tent will be up as a meeting point for all teams. The canteen will be open on the day but can be very busy. TRAINING & MATCH AVAILABLITY Like us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/Hallett CoveNetballClub A reminder that training is a compulsory requirement for all players playing for Hallett Cove Netball Club. Any player not attending training is only entitled to half a game at their next match. As per your registration form, all players have made a commitment to be available for every Saturday match. During the first half of this season, many players have chosen other activities on a Saturday afternoon, leaving their teams short and the club consistently looking for fill in players. This is very frustrating, not only for the club, but for the remaining players who are committing to netball. PRESENTATION NIGHT 147 Sherriffs Road Reynella 8387 3522 Mention HCNC and 10% of sales go back to the club This year’s Presentation Night will be held on Saturday 30th August at the South Adelaide Football Club (Jimmy Deane’s). Presentation Night is a highlight of the netball calendar at Hallett Cove Netball Club. It gives all of the players a chance to come together to celebrate and acknowledge the success and achievements within the club—a night not to be missed! More details to follow soon. PRESENTATION NIGHT RAFFLE As in past years we will have a raffle on Presentation Night. We are seeking donations from individuals and/or business. If you are able to help or know someone or a business that could make a donation please let a committee member know. The success of our raffle is dependant on the donation of prizes—the more prizes we get, the bigger and better our raffle will be! PHOTOS Can all coaches, managers and parents please make sure you are taking plenty of photos of your team during training and any fun occasions you make have. We need as many as we can get for Presentation Night. Only digital photos can be accepted. Please remember not to take photos during or at the games that will involve a player form another club. Hallett Cove Netball Club celebrated National Netball Day on May 31st by going blue. It was fantastic to see our courts and our players decked out in blue. A special thanks to those teams playing away who also got into the spirit. Thanks also to our G4 and F8 players who created some blue posters about why they love netball. These will be on display again at Presentation Night. Well done to those who shared their National Netball Day photos on our Facebook page, and to those who shared their photos with the hashtag #nationalnetballday. By sharing hashtagged photos of how our club celebrated the day, Hallett Cove Netball Club were lucky enough to be one of a small number of people and clubs nation-wide to win a National Netball Day Prize.
