The NED Show

School: JONATHAN
BENTON, KY
Show date: 9/27/2016
Performer: Justin
ACE: Robin Lamaazi
This was a letter sent by Christa recommending the show to her peers:
We just had the NED show presentation at our school. It was an amazing 45 minute presentation about
Never giving up, Encouraging others, and Doing your best.
If you decide to do it, be sure to tell them Jonathan Elementary referred you and to ask for JUSTIN to be
your presenter. The kids were totally captivated by him even way before he began his presentation in the
gym before school. You can definitely tell he was in comedy before the NED show. His message was even
clearly gotten across to even our special needs kiddos. (I told him he was very much like our Teach like a
Pirate goals.)
The best part is that they have a pay it forward program, so another school sold their yoyo’s so we could get
our assembly for free, and we are now selling yoyo’s here for a week so we can Pay it Forward and hopefully
another school can get theirs free. Even if you decide not to have a show, they have lots of resources for free
on their website. Have a great day!

Krista,
The staff and students loved the show. It was a great message that was presented well.
It kept the kids engaged, and I know that they go a lot out of it. The teachers felt that it was useful for
them, and they were glad to have seen it.
Thank you,
-Rob (Principal)

Hello Tania,
You were right, Ryan was amazing! I received numerous comments that this was the best assembly
we have ever had, from teachers and students. So, this is great news! The kids at all age levels were
engaged and embraced the concepts enthusiastically.
We are continuing on-campus with the NED message.
Thank you again for everything and we look forward to another assembly potentially next year. What
a great way to start off the school year!
Warmest regards,
Corinne (Teacher)

We appreciate having you here at our school.
Our presenter couldn’t have been friendlier and did a great job with the assemblies. During the K/1
assembly, the presenter chose a student to come on stage who was quite an anxious little girl last
year as a young kindergartener. On stage this year, she was beaming and quite happy to be here at
school. I consider that a success.
Thank you for offering this opportunity for our students.

Nicole,
This was amazing!!! Mallory was wonderful and many teachers said this was one of the best assemblies
ever!
All students in every grade were fully engaged. We have already had so many purchases, too!
We are continuing the kindness theme in our yearbooks this year. We are asking students to design the
yearbook cover using a kindness theme/message. This is a contest and teachers will vote on the best idea!!
I want you to know also that Anne Christie at Goodings Grove School in Homer 33C would like to have
this assembly at her school too!
Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Jared,
Thank you so much for bringing the Kindness Adventure to Ripon.
Mallory did a fabulous job presenting to our young students. She kept them engaged and delivered
some very important messages to our students. Kids were very excited about the program and we were
able to use the information as a starting point for conversations within the classrooms.
Our charter school has a Random Acts of Kindness focus this school year and this supported that
theme very closely. Our building population is becoming more diverse and this was great for teaching
students to be accepting of differences.
One of our kindergarten students was so excited to talk to me after the program. She said, “Mrs. Sanderfoot, I have a superpower! It is my smile!”
Thank you again for your time!
