DAVIDSON’S FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE program combines merit and need-based awards with campus employment and other resources to make a Davidson education possible for all admitted students. Our decision on your admission is completely separate from any financial aid determination. Your character, accomplishments, and academic potential are the only factors in the decision—not your ability to pay. Through The Davidson Trust, Davidson meets 100 percent of your calculated need with grants plus campus employment. No loans are included in Davidson financial aid packages. Please note that families are free to take out loans as a matter of personal financing. Davidson’s Net Price Calculator is intended to assist you in early financial planning for college. This calculator is designed to provide a preliminary estimate of federal, state, and institutional aid eligibility to help families gauge what aid the student may be awarded and to make arrangements to cover the cost of attendance. If you are relying on merit aid, please note that, other than the Bryan Scholars Program, all merit decisions are made after January 2.
