Bullock-Webstsr, had been developed by an 80 foot Mining Division OSOYOOS District Similkaneen adit. The claim, Lot 1451, was Crown-granted i n 1900- The t w a s Crown-granted adjoining Great Eastern claim ( ~ o 3437) County Township or Parish t o L.W. Shatford and Stephen Xangott i n 1906. The claims Concession or Range Lot were acquired by W.C. IcDougall, of Olalla, i n about 1931. Olalla Gold Xines, Limited, was incorporated i n 1935 t o Sec TP. R. acquire t h i s , and the Sunrise property (82 ~ / 5 , Au 2) ; the company name-was changed i n 1936 t o Hedley Crest Xines, Limited. Gold Valley Xines, Ltd., incorporated i n 1936, OWNER OR OPERATOR AND ADDRESS acquired 19 claims and fractions. The workings on t h e Somet h i n g Good and A.C. Fractional clairns a t t h a t time %otalled about 550 f e e t i n 2 a d i t s . Pevelopment work was reported by the company i n 1931 and 1939. The workings a t t h a t l a t t e r date comprised 3 d r i f t a d i t s , t h e no. 1, Intermediate, and DESCBIPTIOX OF DEPOSIT No. 2; the lower (NO. 1 ) a d i t was extended 500 f e e t during A shear-zone i n a r g i l l i t e s and q u a r t z i t i c sediments outcrops 1939 on the face of prominent b l u f f s at an elevation of about 2,600 Hedley Monarch Gold Pines, Limited, incorporated i n 1945, f e e t and upwards f o r 100 f e e t and more. A t the base of t h e acquired the claims a s part of a groupisg of 72 claims and b l u f f s t h e rock i s pyroxenite, which consists of one large body fractions. The shear-zone, a t t h e lowest point seen, a t go. 1 a d i t , i s about 4 f e e t wide and widens upwards t o 16 f e e t , 40 f e e t above the adit. Ro. 1 a d i t , elevation 2,541 f e e t , i s driven 360 f e e t i n a direction changing gradually from south 75 degrees west t o south 55 degrees west. The p o r t a l i s immediately west of s large body of pyroxenite. This a d i t follows t h e foot-wall of a sheared and brecciated zone i n argillaceous and cherty sediments which dips steeply northward. For the first 110 f e e t the back i s breccia t e d and cemented with c a l c i t e and some quartz. The material i s The shear-zone continues beyond this s o f t and non-coherent. point t o t h e face but contains l i t t l e or no introcluced material.
