West Coast
Salmon:
Atlantic Salmon: Prices remained steady for next week, but steady pressure continues to push this market up.
Wild Salmon:
All of the wild season is pretty well finished for the year. Except:
Coho – Minimal arriving next week as the season winds up.
Chum – Still fresh arriving thru the Johnstone Strait. Good meat color/oil content.
Halibut: Good supply arriving, with less focus on boats fishing salmon. Halibut season finishes Nov 7th.
Talk to your customers about the C2C difference. Quality has been outstanding!!!

Queen Charlottes/Hectate Strait
•
Small vessels = Shorter trips
Oysters/Clams : Good supply on both.
Mussels: Good supply
Groundfish: Good supply on most groundfish.
Exotics: Fresh Artesmar Ahi Tuna. Short supply on Mahi Mahi.
Scallops – Good supply from Boston. 10/20- 2lb pack now available.
Albacore Tuna: Secured good supply for now. Still awaiting larger boats to arrive. Pricing unsettled.

Eastern Canada
Oysters: All oysters available next week, with the exception of the New Brunswick line (Lil Shemogue, Fin de la
Baie, Peacock Cove)
Cod: Sourcing from Iceland. MSC certified
Haddock: Sourcing from mainly from Canada right now. MSC certified
Ocean Perch (Whole): Sourcing from Iceland. (Special request)
Live Lobster: New season starts Oct 15th, when we may see some price relief. Pricing steady next week.
Lake Fish: Little to no supply arriving from the Great Lakes due to the warm weather.
Smelts: Only Chilean sea smelts available. No lake until Oct/Nov .
South America
Swordfish – Good supply arriving from Panama/Equador. Pricing softened for next week.
Mahi Mahi – No supply arriving for next week.
Chilean Salmon/Steelhead: Prices steady this week, but further increases projected.
Tilapia – Good supply.
Carolina
Snappers (B-Liners): Both Atlantic and Gulf now fishing. Supply may be tight due to storm.
Kingfish: Should be good for supply out of the Gulf
Red Grouper & Amberjacks: Good supply on grouper. No supply next week on Amberjacks
Black Grouper, Yellow Edge Grouper, Golden Tilefish: Supply may be interrupted due to hurricane
Blue crab (live): Only HARD SHELL available now. Good supply
Catfish – Summer schedule continues. Tues arrival into Max.
Boston
Skate Wing, Cod: Good supply. Porgies: Good supply
Monkfish: Tight supply next week.
Mackerel: Good supply on both Spanish and Atlantic next week.
Squid – Steady supply
Ocean Perch: Good supply
Scallops – Steady supply.
Europe Sea Bass and Sea Bream from Greece and Turkey have been plentiful.
