Medieval Music Magic

MEDIEVAL MUSIC MAGIC 2015
Ability Level: Intermediate / Duration: 9 Days / 8 Nights
Medieval Music Magic
With top guide Isacco Colombo and
co-guide Federica Luppi
Several of the charming medieval towns and cities visited during Ciclismo
Classico trips in Umbria and Tuscany have been cultural and artistic centers
through the centuries. Some of them are connected with history of medieval
music and today some of them are still among the few places in the world
where the practice of medieval music is still alive, also thanks to several
historical commemorations and feasts where music still has a role. Early
music specialist and passionate cyclist Isacco Colombo will lead a special
bike tour to some of the favorite Ciclismo Classico destinations with special
dedication to early music references, daily live performances, visits and
lectures, ending inside the magic and unique atmosphere in the heart of the
celebrated “Calendimaggio” feast in medieval Assisi.
