1. Choose one country other than Australia and find at least 10 interesting facts about this country.

2. Draw a map of this country and mark in at least 5 major cities.
3. When did your chosen country first compete in the Commonwealth Games?
4. How many medals has your chosen country won throughout its history of competing in the
commonwealth games?
5. Select an athlete that competes for your chosen country and write a mini biography (Name, Gender,
Sport, Age, Date/Place of Birth)
6. “People, Place, Passion” is the motto of the Commonwealth Games. Explain what this motto means to
you.
7. Write a short paragraph about why you would or would not like to live in this country. ( be descriptive
and keep the reader’s attention to your response )
