60 Journey for a Lifetime Trips in 9 Years
After a historical & educational tour of Berlin, Germany (or
Prague, Czech Republic) your life-changing Journey for a
Lifetime will take you to Poland where you’ll be empowered
to fulfill the dreams and wishes of children who suffer from
terminal illnesses or life-limiting conditions - often in
circumstances beyond imagination.
The program promotes service, leadership & compassion
and after 12 days you’ll come away with a lasting impression;
a mature awareness; greater respect; a deeper sense of
perspective - and much more besides.
Launched in 2007, the Journeys for a Lifetime program
evolved as a natural “international extension” of the highly
respected Polish children’s charity Fundacja Dziecieca
Fantazja – which makes over 500 wishes come true each
year for children in Poland who suffer from terminal illnesses
or life-limiting conditions.
“This trip has had a dramatic impact on my life. I now have a
greater sense of self-worth, self-confidence and maturity and
I feel more capable, stronger and better educated on global
and humanitarian issues. I’m eternally grateful for the
experience that Coalition for Kids has given to me”… Lavinia
“This trip is phenomenal. It’s been
the most memorable, emotional,
powerful and meaningful 12 days
of my entire life. This trip must be
experienced”... Ryan
“I don’t know where to begin to
describe how life-changing this
trip was for me. I don’t know if
anything in my life will ever
compare”... Rose

 The Journeys for a Lifetime program will show you
the world beyond. It’s one thing to read about these
situations. It’s another to experience them first hand.
 You’ll witness the hardships and daily struggles faced
by children with terminal illnesses and life-limiting
conditions, who in many cases live in poverty with
little or no support, and behold the courage and love
of the mothers who are often left alone to fight for
every minute of their child’s life.
“It’s the program our world so desperately
needs” … Ben
 You’ll discover valuable life lessons that
can never be taught.
 You’ll learn to appreciate the needs of
others less fortunate and come away
understanding and valuing what you
have at home, inspired and ready to
make a difference to your world.
“It took me all these years to finally make a difference in someone else’s life - and my own”… Jaymee
 Each trip is unforgettable and unique. In addition to being a compassionate volunteer you’ll also:
meet other extraordinary people; make new friends across the world; have great fun; learn about
European history and traditions; discover the culture and, most of all, have a real sense of
fulfillment.
