Unlike with other systems, no cover sleeves are needed. The specially designed, internal shape of the fork ends allows the BESISTA rod anchors to accommodate axial offsets of up to 2°. This prevents transverse stresses and protects coatings - a major benefit during installation. (patented) Filigree longitudinal ribs on the BESISTA rod anchors and smooth transitions from the straps to the shaft guarantee perfect forming and casting while at the same time serving as wrench flats. BESISTA rod anchors are made of top-grade highly ductile spheroidal graphite cast iron with guaranteed notched bar impact work at –20 °C. No crack-prone steel casting. Wrench flats both on the tension rods and on the BESISTA rod anchors permit distortion-free tensioning. Sustainability by using hot-dip galvanized system parts. BESISTA cross anchors are provided exclusively by BESISTA®. They allow contactfree crossing of tension rods and offer an elegantly crafted and sound structural solution for intersections. Also exclusively available from BESISTA® are the cost-effective intermediate sizes M14, 18, 22, 33, 39, 45 and 68, providing 24 thread sizes from M8 to M76, with limit tensile forces up to 2016 kN. The smaller increments save a lot of material. Compression rod connections for compression rods made of steel or timber are available in three different types. Our compact, extra-light BESISTA pretensioning systems BVS-230kN and BVS-500kN permit rapid, controlled pretensioning of the tension rods. With the BVS-230, a tension of up to 230 kN can be applied by a single person in a few minutes. Very large adjustment lengths in the BESISTA rod anchors - at least three times the rod diameter per rod - offer enormous benefits during installation. Unlike sleeves with welded straps, the specially designed BESISTA suspension rings allow the tension rods to be turned and tensioned at all times. 04.05.14
