Talk Homework
Dear Parents/Carers,
We should be grateful if you would confirm that your child has completed the different parts of their homework. Homework should be recorded in
the blue homework books. In addition to the weekly homework, children in Year 3 are expected to read 5-6 pages Monday to Friday; they can of
course read more and this is encouraged! In Year 3, we promote independent learning, so the children are able to read to themselves and record the
entry in the diary. It is also helpful for your child to be asked questions about the books they are reading to aid their comprehension skills - we also
monitor the reading homework daily. Reading diaries are stamped every Monday.
