Students from other countries are required to obtain an
Authorization for Temporary Stay (MVV) before travelling to the
Netherlands, depending on the duration of their stay.
The Immigration Affairs department at our university facilitates the
submission procedure. Contact the International Office to obtain all
necessary information or check our website.

Insurance
Health insurance
Dutch law requires everyone living in the Netherlands to have
health insurance. Students must themselves make sure that they
have adequate coverage (i.e. health care costs and personal and
professional liability).
If the insurance you have in your own country provides full cover for
medical costs and legal liability while you are in the Netherlands,
you should bring with you a statement in English detailing the
insurance cover.
If you do not have adequate coverage, you may want to consider
special student insurance with the following insurance companies
whose policies have been checked by Nuffic:
- Insurance Passport for Students (IPS)
www.studentsinsured.com/ips/
- AON Students Insurance
www.students-insurance.eu/
More information can be found on our website,
