SUPER SATURDAY

$5.00 registration fee per participant
Check-in: 9:00 - 9:30 a.m.
• Register early! Class sizes are limited and are filled on a first registered
basis.
Come early to check in, get your name tag, and pick up a room
schedule before classes start.
• All 1st - 12th grade youth are welcome. Youth do not have to be in 4-H
to register.
Lunch Break: 11:30 - 12:10 p.m.
• Registration fee of $5.00 per participant must be paid at the time of
registration; cash or checks only. Fees are non-refundable. Youth
scholarships are available in case of financial hardship.
• Registration form and class schedule available online at:

• Parents are welcome to stay as observers or to assist their child, but will
not be registered as participants. Supplies, handouts, and activities are
reserved for participating youth. Adults should allow registered youth to
be seated first. Adults must sign in at arrival and wear a name tag.
Bring a brown bag lunch or purchase pizza, pop or snacks from
Ranch and Home 4-H Club.

PIZZA (Pepperoni, Hawaiian, or Cheese): $2.50 per slice
•
POP OR BOTTLED WATER: $1.00
•
BAKED GOODS & OTHER SNACKS: Small Fee
•
Request on your registration form the number of pizza slices and
drinks you think you may purchase (include slices for adults attending
with you).
•
Money for food will be collected at Super Saturday when lunch is
served (pre-payments will not be accepted at the Extension Office).
Registration Deadline is Tuesday, March 14, 2017
Registration must be received at the Extension Office by March 14 at 5:00
p.m.. Mail or bring your registration form and fee to:

Checks should be made out to “4-H Leaders Council”

Fly Casting… Made Easy
5th - 12th

Sculpting
3rd - 12th
Learn the fine art of casting a fly rod. Tom will demonstrate and
coach participants on how to cast a fly rod.
What's the next best thing to play-dough? Clay! Learn how to
make a lasting sculptures by using clay. Alicia will show you the
in’s and out’s of using clay for sculpting.

Pies, Pies & More Pies

EMT, Fireman or Both
Who doesn’t love a good pie? Pies start with a good crust and good
crusts are just what you will find in this class. Come learn how to
make pie crusts and find out what great things you can put in them.
Come learn what these heroes do everyday in their jobs that help
save people’s lives. Maybe you will become an EMT or Fireman
someday!

Come meet “Pick” a K-9 Narcotics Detective. Her handler is Officer Gunner Fulmer with the Walla Walla Police Department and
he will be showing off Pick’s incredible nose.
Take a look at that… skulls and furs. Learn how wildlife adapt to
their habitats and what makes them unique.

Engineering Problem Solving

Participant's will be given an engineering problem for which they will develop ideas, plan, and implement a solution.
Who doesn’t love a good comic? Learn the art of theater
while learning how to present yourself. Throw in some
theater games and you have the entire theater experience!

Cakes are good, but frosting is better! Learn the basic techniques
behind frosting a cake by using different tips, equipment, and different
types of frosting. Take a couple home to share. (Mini Cakes or
Cupcakes will be used.)

I did! Store bought bouquets of flowers are expensive. Learn to create your own corsage and bouquet of flowers for half the cost in this
floral design class.

the world of Robotics, using a Lego WeDo kit.

Want to sew? Come check out a simple sewing project. With a
few scraps of fabric, you can make an elegant cover for your
tissue box or a clever coaster for your cup, and much more!
Do you own small animal? Learn how to show your critter in this
hands-on class. You will learn the basic body parts, terminology,
and how to dress and act when showing off your critter.

Community Service Project - Seattle Children’s Hospital Craft Kits
