Special Needs Screenings
Studio Movie Grill exists to open hearts and minds one story at a time and differentiates itself by
proudly supporting local initiatives through community outreach and offering programs that make
an impact. One example is SMG's Special Needs Screenings for families raising children with
special needs.
Established over seven years ago, these regularly scheduled screenings offer first-run family
movies free to children with special needs and their siblings, all others pay the before–noon
matinee ticket price. The series begins with Inside Out on Saturday, June 27th at 11:00a.m.
In Tyler, these screenings will be in partnership with the Tyler-based Treatment and Learning
Center for Children With Autism (TLC) and DATA (Defeat Autism Through Applied Behavior
Analysis) as well as Variety, the Children’s Charity of Texas..

SMG With a Twist – Alternate Programming
SMG with A Twist provides affordable alternate, educational and family programming including
documentaries, cartoons, concert films, sports, and special advanced promotional screenings
plus themed monthly film series. This unique and distinct programming supports local community
initiatives, artistic creation and public awareness in SMG neighborhoods.
