SUPPLIES:
•Fabric
• Matching thread
• Stick-on hook-and-loop strip

• Straight pins
• Fabric scissors
• Rotary cutter
• Clear grid ruler
• Cutting mat
• Hot glue gun
• Extra hot glue sticks
• Iron and ironing board
• Sewing machine
• Seam gauge
• Fabric adhesive
• Binder clips
• Disappearing ink pen
TIPS & TRICKS:
• Around the Corner:
If your bed has posts on
the front corners, make
your bed skirt in three pieces—one for each visible side of the box spring.
• Strike a Match: You can cut a little time off your project with your fabric choice.
Go for a solid (or less obvious pattern) if you want to skip the process of lining
up the print from seam to seam.
• Sticky Situation: Stick-on hook-and-loop strips may not be strong enough to
hold the weight of the fabric over time. It’s a good idea to reinforce the back of
the strips with permanent fabric adhesive.
