School Belonging Survey: As part
of our Board's BELONGING
initiatives, all elementary (Grades
4 – 8) and secondary (Grades 9 –
12) schools within the London
District Catholic School Board,
along with parents and school
staff, are being asked to complete a
Belonging School Climate survey.
The purpose of the Belonging
School Climate survey is to find
out how students, parents and
school staff feel about their school
with respect to school safety,
equity and inclusive education. We
are also very interested in finding
out what you think will help make
your school a safe, respectful,
welcoming and caring place to
learn.
School boards are mandated by the
Province to conduct a school
climate survey once every two
years. The survey should take you
about 15 – 20 minutes to complete,
but take as long as you need to
complete the survey. This is an
anonymous survey so please do not
type in your name on the survey.
The Belonging School Climate
surveys will be open from
February 2017 to the end of March
2017. Schools will receive a
summary of the results.
The students and staff surveys will
be completed at school. Parents are
asked to check our website or use
the link below to access the parent
version of the survey:

Labels for Education: We are
continuing to collect Campbell’s
soup labels. However, there have
been some changes to the program
and we can now only accept labels
that have the ‘Labels for
Education’ logo (below). In this
program, the school gets points for
the number of labels collected and
these are redeemed for items such
as books, DVDs, and active living
materials.
100th Day of School: Monday,
Feb. 13 is the 100th day of school.
