COVENTRY CITY COUNCIL
Notice is hereby given that the Coventry City Council
propose to make the under-mentioned Orders under
sections 26 and 27 of the Road Traffic Act 1960, the
effect of which v/ill be as indicated under the title
of each Order.
1. The City of Coventry (Holyhead Road)
(Restriction on Waiting) Order 1965 to provide
for restricted waiting only of vehicles between the
hours of 8 a.m. and 11 p.m. in part of the
length of Holyhead Road.
2. The City of Coventry (Fairfax Street) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 1965, to prohibit
the waiting of vehicles in Fairfax Street.
3. The City of Coventry (Ringway) (Prohibition of
Waiting) Order 1965 to prohibit the waiting of
vehicles in Ringway (Queen's), Moat Street
Junction Roundabout and Ringway (Rudge).
Exemptions are provided in Orders 1 and 2 to
permit vehicles to wait for as long as may be necessary for persons to board or alight, for goods to be
loaded or unloaded, for use in connection with building operations or demolition, roadworks or works on
the services in the road, and to provide exemption
for disabled drivers. In addition Order 1 contains an
exemption for funeral processions.
Exemptions are provided in Order 3 to permit
vehicles to wait for as long as may be necessary for
use in connection with building operations or demolitions, roadworks or works on the services in the
road.
Copies of the Orders and maps showing the lengths
of road affected may be inspected at my office.
Objections to any of the proposals must be sent
in writing to the undersigned by 11th June 1965.

CHESHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
The Council of Chester (Ashley Road, Hale)
(Prohibition of Waiting) Order, 1965
Notice is hereby given that on the 14th May 1965,
the Cheshire County Council made an Order under
the Road Traffic Act, I960, the effect of which is to
impose prohibition of waiting in Ashley Road, Hale,
between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Mondays
to Saturdays inclusive, from its junction with Peel
Avenue to a point 10 yards West of its junction with
Bath Place.
The Order contains the usual exemptions to permit
vehicles to wait for the purposes of loading or
unloading goods, allowing persons to board or alight,
or to enable works to be carried out in the length
of road concerned, and will come into operation
on the 24th May 1965.

DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL
Imposition of 40 m.p.h speed limit on Exeter—
Exmouth Road {A.377) at Exton
Notice is hereby given that the Devon County
Council intend to apply to the Minister of Transport
for his consent to the making of an Order under
section 11 (1) of the Road Traffic Act, 1962, prohibiting 'the driving of motor vehicles at a speed
exceeding 40 m.p.h. on -the length of road specified
in the Schedule to this Notice.
Any objection to the making of the Order should
be sent to .the undersigned by 9th June 1965.

BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL
The City of Birmingham (Traffic Regulation) (Experimental) (No. 1) Order, 1965
Notice is hereby given that the Lord Mayor, Aldermen and Citizens of the City of Birmingham propose
to make an Order under sections 26 and 27 of the Road Traffic Act, 1960 and section 28 of the Road
Traffic Act, 1962, the effect of which will be:
(a) To introduce no waiting between 8 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. on weekdays in -the following lengths of
road:
Dale Road

(a) East and south sides, whole length.
(b) South-west side, from the line of the kerb on the north-west side of Bristol
Road for a distance of 17 yards in a north-westerly direction.
Grange Road
(a) West side between its junction with Dale Road and its junction with
Bristol Road.
(b) East side from the line of the kerb on the north side of Bristol Road for a
distance of 22 yards in a northerly direction.
(b) To introduce unilateral no waiting between 8 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. on weekdays for the first fifteen
days of any month on one side and on the other side of the length of road for the remainder of
the month as follows:
