TIPS FOR SUCCESS
Grades are earned—not given!
*Visit PowerSchool OFTEN! You
can check your child’s progress
by using PowerSchool as often as
you’d like. If you do not have an
access code, please visit the
office for that information.
*The students have been given an
interactive math journal that
includes every math standard
they will learn this year. Helpful
notes are also included in the
journal. Your child should use
this as a MATH BOOK—they
should bring it home daily to use
as a resource for homework,
studying, etc. If you have not
seen it, ask your child about it!
Your child will benefit by visiting
the following websites often:
Dreamboxlearning.com
Khanacademy.com
Discoveryed.com
Your child will also excel by
reading every day and by
following our at home reading
program
&
by practicing speed & fluency
with basic math facts
(addition, subtraction,
multiplication & division)
