Wedding Celebration

for your special day.
Whether your dream wedding is a small, intimate
celebration or something more lavish, Rochdale
Town Hall is the venue for you.
We pride ourselves in offering a wedding package
that is personally tailored to meet your very
individual requirements. Whether you’re planning
a traditional or Asian wedding or a Civil Ceremony,
we recognise that your wedding is a unique and
special occasion and we are here to help make it a
day to remember.
On making your booking, you will be assigned your
very own wedding planner who will work with you
from start to finish, interpreting your wishes and
turning them into a reality.

The magnificent splendour of the historic town
hall offers a range of rooms to accommodate any
party size and with the surrounding ornate gardens,
there is no shortage of internal or external photo
opportunities.
As well as a fabulous venue for your ceremony, the

When using the Town Hall for the
ceremony only:

£500 deposit is required to secure the booking
(non refundable)
• Full payment is required 30 days in advance

e will do our best to work with you to
coordinate the availability of the registrar

£500 deposit is required within 14 days of the
provisional booking to secure your chosen date
(non refundable)

onfirmation of numbers and full payment is
required 30 days before the event

The Ceremony
Rochdale Town Hall is regarded as one of the finest
Victorian buildings in the country. Its magnificent
architecture and stunning elegance provides the
most impressive of welcomes, providing lasting
memories for years to come.
Every room has a stunning feature carved stone fire
place, oak panelling, beautiful hand painted stencilled
ceilings and stained glass windows.
The most popular setting for the ceremony is
The Exchange where the bride can make her entrance
down The Great Hall staircase with a backdrop of
a fabulous stained glass window.
The Exchange seats up to 100 people or for more
informal settings, the adjacent Register Office can
accommodate four to 40 guests.

The Venue
We offer a range of different style rooms to suit your
party size.
The Exchange also makes an enchanting venue for
evening receptions. With its towering red and grey
granite cylindrical columns and original tiled floor,
it’s the perfect place to dance the night away!
The Great Hall
The spacious Great Hall is an impressive space which
is probably unequalled among civic buildings. It
provides a location that is stunning in its elegance
and perfect for a large wedding party. The Great Hall
can accommodate up to 350 guests.
The Reception Room
With its pair of finely carved stone fireplaces and
ornate decoration, the Reception Room is the ideal
setting for smaller wedding parties of 40 to 80 guests.
The Exchange Room
For a smaller more intimate party, The Exchange
Room offers traditional Victorian elegance and is
a fantastic setting for your drinks reception. The
Exchange seats 10 to 20 guests.
