Aliquots of PCC (250 µg) were rehydrated in a 18 cm IPG strip covering the pH range 4 to 7 and subject to 2-DE as described in Materials and Methods. Computer-aided analysis showed a high batch-to-batch reproducibility of the protein composition of all three PCCs. For PCC-A, PCC-B and PCC-C 96.8 %, 96.1 % and 94.9 % of the detected spots did not differ between the batches analyzed.
